36. Leugens over Ahmedinejad.

In duizenden kranten hebben we kunnen lezen dat Ahmedinejad heeft gezegd:
 "Israel moet van de aardbodem worden geveegd".
Alsof alle inwoners van dat land vernietigd moeten worden.

Dit is een leugen.
De oorspronkelijke tekst is door twee Westerse media in de wereld gebracht: de NY Times en het MEMRI.
In beide teksten is duidelijk te lezen dat het niet gaat over het Israelische volk, maar over het regime dat moet verdwijnen.
Ahmedinejad zegt ongeveer het volgende:
Niemand kon ooit geloven dat de USSR zou verdwijnen. Maar die is nu geheel weg.
Niemand kon zich voorstellen dat het regime van de Shah zou verdwijnen. Ook dat is weg.
Niemand geloofde dat Saddam zou worden vernederd. HIJ zit nu in een cel in zijn eigen land.
Ajatollah Khomeiny zei ons dat het Israelische regime moet verdwijnen. Dat behoort dus ook tot de mogelijkheden.

Ahmedinejahd zou ook de holocaust ontkend hebben toen hij zei: "De holocaust is een mythe"

Ahemdinejahd heeft nooit gezegd dat de holocaust niet gebeurd is. Hij heeft wel aangegeven dat deze mythische vormen heeft aangenomen. Daarin staat hij niet alleen.  Ook Gilad Atzmon noemt de Holocaust een religie.
Ook hier lezen we datzelfde idee: "How can we tell who is ruling the world? Normally, the conqueror imposes his religion on the conquered.What is the dominant religion in the world today? I submit that it is the Religion of the Holocaust. I submit that in this way we can tell who rules the world." ( Phil Podolner - from a Jewish family)

In grote lijnen zegt Ahmedinejad: "Als de Westerse landen inderdaad 6 miljoen joden hebben vermoord, waarom stellen zij zelf dan niet een stuk land ter beschiking van het joodse volk?  Waarom moeten deze mensen in Palestina komen wonen? "

Hier kunt U lezen wat Ahemdinejad zei, en welke leugens de media er bij verzonnen.

Dit is de officiele vertaling van wat hij werkelijk zei:


 "'If the Europeans are telling the truth in their claim that they have killed six million Jews in the Holocaust during the World War II - which seems they are right in their claim because they insist on it and arrest and imprison those who oppose it, why the Palestinian nation should pay for the crime. Why have they come to the very heart of the Islamic world and are committing crimes against the dear Palestine using their bombs, rockets, missiles and sanctions.' [...] 'If you have committed the crimes so give a piece of your land somewhere in Europe or America and Canada or Alaska to them to set up their own state there.' [...] Ahmadinejad said some have created a myth on holocaust and hold it even higher than the very belief in religion and prophets [...] The president further said, 'If your civilization consists of aggression, displacing the oppressed nations, suppressing justice-seeking voices and spreading injustice and poverty for the majority of people on the earth, then we say it out loud that we despise your hollow civilization.'"

We mogen best aannemen dat Ahmedinejad niet gelooft dat er 6 miljoen joden zijn vermoord.
Maar dat komt alleen omdat hij beter is geïnformeerd dan de gemiddelde westerling. Zelfs de hoogste Israelische autoriteit op dit gebied, Raul Hilberg, zegt dat er hooguit 5,1 miljoen mensen zijn vermoord.

Maar weigeren om een onjuist getal te geloven is natuurlijk niet hetzelfde als ontkennen dat er een holocaust was.
Volgens die criteria zou Raul Hilberg ook een holocaust-ontkenner zijn.

Jews first settled in Persia in the 6^th Century BC, in the reign of Cyrus the Great. The continuous Jewish presence in Iran predates Islam by more than a millennium. In 1948, at the time the Israeli state was established, approximately 150,000 Jews lived in Iran.A large number of them left for Israel in the next few years and another wave of emigration took place after the Islamic revolution in 1979, mostly to the US. Today, there are around 25,000 Jews in Iran, about half of them in Tehran.

They practice their religion openly in synagogues, of which there are about 100 in total in Iran, 26 in Tehran (see the website of the Tehran Jewish Committee ). There are five Jewish schools in Tehran. Jewish religious teaching is permitted in public schools at certain times (instead of Islamic teachings).

There is a Jewish hospital in Tehran, which provides services for Jews and non-Jews alike. These days most of its staff is Muslim, but its director is a Jew. It is funded by Jewish charities, mostly from abroad. According to a BBC report, President Ahmadinejad’s office donated money to the hospital in 2006 .

Iranian Jews have little influence on decision-making in Iran and are not allowed to hold senior posts in the army or bureaucracy. But they are not persecuted, otherwise they would leave. They can travel relatively freely, including to Israel and the US, where many of them have relatives.
