The demonisation machine is in full swing now.

The American Neocon Warriors always use the same pattern:

1. Create a blood bath ( a new Pearl Harbor in PNAC terms)
    or say that a blood bath will come if nothing is done.
 
  Make sure the victims are innocent, neutral civilians. Preferably children.

2. Be the first to point the finger. Say that you have solid evidence (Colin Powell !).

If there is nothing,  ask PR company 'Hill and Knowlton'. They will produce something.

Some examples: ( Incubator) , ( Ted and Barbara Olson )

3. Repeat it for days or months in the news. Make the people frantic.

4. Then support the locals who are willing to take revenge or take over power.
     or:
     If it's worthwhile, if there is a bounty, make sure that the new strong man works for you. Have it all        prepared.

Some practical tips:  it may be necessary to do some preliminary demonising.
Especially when the target used to be a respected member of the international society.
You will always find weak points. Every leader and every country has them.
For example:
Saddam was cruel. ( A neccessary asset if you want to rule a country such as Iraq for a longer time.)
Ghadaffi liked bragging and gave exaggerated speeches.
Putin...  not much wrong with him. KGB?  Papa Bush was CIA boss.
  Then take an alternative: Russia does not like gays.


The teacher of Victor Ostrovsky explained to his pupil how it works:

 "After the bombing of Libya, our friend Qadhafi is sure to stay out of the picture for some time.

 Iraq and Saddam Hussein are the next target. We're starting now to build him up as the big villain. It will take some time, but in the end, there's no doubt it'll work."

Now the target is Russia.
The achilles heel is that Putin is accused of helping ethnic Russians in Ukraïne.
What happened is this:
A plane fell in the region of Donetsk.
These people are in the middel of a war.  There is no real central government.  Their cities are bombed, but this is never mentioned in the Western Media.

Then an aeroplane is shot down. Nobody knows who did it.
If Russia or the Rebels did it on purpose they would be really crazy.   But they may have done it, thinking it was an enemy aeroplane.
If Kiev ( USA) did it, this was a game changer: now they can really destroy Russia's image. All they have to do is spread rumours about disrespect, unwillingness to cooperate, stealing of rings, etc.

Putin is in a catch 22:
The West demands him to take controle in Eastern Ukraïne. Who will listen to him? He let them down,. as he promised that he would protect them against killings.  But he did not protect them.
So I think he cannot take controle: there are gropups fighting, whom will they listen to?
If Putin does not create order,  he is considered a heartless bastard.

But if he would be able to controle the rebels, then  it will be taken as proof that it was him all along.

That is: Catch 22.  Whatever you do, you are guilty.

Only 3 days after the crash,  Putin is already crimninalised by the real perpetrators.
 Yes, I have no proof. But the 'cui bono' question and the way the Media attack works now:  I think the US did it. They planned it.

'De crash van vlucht 17 maakt voor zowel de Russen als het Westen een einde aan het sprookje dat dit geen echte oorlog is', schrijft Anne Applebaum in The Washington Post. 'We staan op het punt om te leren of het Westen anno 2014 verenigd en vastbesloten genoeg  is om terrorisme te stoppen, zoals het geval was 26 jaar geleden.' Toen Libië de Pan Am-vlucht neerhaalde boven het Schotse Lockerbie, isoleerde het Westen het land. In The New York Times schrijft Timothy Garton Ash over de dodelijke doctrine van Poetin. In 1994 ontmoette de auteur Poetin ('een kleine man met een ratachtig gezicht'), toen nog de plaatsvervangend burgemeester van St. Petersburg. Toen al zei Poetin dat Rusland het lot van de '25 miljoen etnische Russen' in het buitenland (o.a. de Krim) niet zomaar kon opgeven. Volgens Poetin moest de wereld de belangen van de Russische staat respecteren en die 'van het Russische volk als een grote natie.'

Waar eindigt het recht om 'de mensen' te beschermen? 'In bloed', aldus Timothy Garton Ash. 'Het is onmogelijk om te overschatten hoe dit een bedreiging vormt, niet alleen voor de Oost-Europese en Europees-Aziatische buurlanden van Rusland maar voor de hele post-1945 internationale orde.'

'Als president Poetin zijn omgang met Oekraïne niet verandert, moeten wij in Europa en het Westen onze omgang met Rusland veranderen.' Dat schrijft de Britse premier David Cameron in een brief in The Sunday Times.

Cameron heeft ook kritiek op de houding van sommige westerse landen: 'Te lang hebben veel Europese landen zich terughoudend opgesteld om onder ogen te zien wat er gebeurt in Oost-Oekraïne. Zittend rond de tafel van de Europese Raad afgelopen woensdag zag ik die tegenzin weer. Elegante woorden en mooie verklaringen zijn geen vervanger voor echte actie.'

Cameron benadrukt dat het niet gaat om militair ingrijpen, 'maar het is tijd om onze macht, onze invloed en onze middelen te laten gelden'.

It's Finally Time for the West to Stand Up to Putin

Het is eindelijk tijd voor het Westen om tegen Poetin op te staan, schrijft James Kirchik. 'De wereld is in shock na het neerschieten van het vliegtuig van Malaysia Airlines, maar dat zou het niet moeten zijn. Moskou is de wortel van het probleem en het is al lang tijd dat we opstaan tegen het Russische regime.'

Kirchik vindt dat het nu 'meer dan tijd wordt dat de VS en de NAVO het Oekraïense leger de hulp bieden waar het om vraagt, zodat  het leger zichzelf en zijn luchtruim op zijn minst kan verdedigen.'

Ook vindt hij dat de Navo meer troepen naar Polen en de Baltische staten moet sturen, 'die landen zijn begrijpelijkerwijs nerveus over Ruslands ideeën met betrekking tot hun territoriale grondgebied.'

Ook zegt Kirchik dat 'als Russische betrokkenheid bij de aanslag  onomstotelijk wordt bewezen, Amerika Rusland op de zwarte lijst van landen die terrorisme steunen moet zetten.'
